Quartz is a manufactured stone that is engineered to look like natural rock. Quartz can provide a custom and unique look when granite or marble colors are limited. Since its an engineered product, consisting of about 95% quartz and 5% resins which provide pigments (color), stain resistance and a nonporous material.
